Lidcombe Program Training - Online Course
About Course:
The Lidcombe Program is a behavioral treatment for early childhood stuttering that is delivered by speech-language pathologists through structured parent training and ongoing clinical supervision.
The program is designed for preschool and early school-age children who stutter and is implemented within everyday speaking situations. Parents are trained by the SLP to provide specific verbal feedback to the child’s speech, while the clinician monitors progress and guides treatment decisions.

Dr Anna Hearne
Dr Anna Hearne is a highly experienced speech pathologist with over 20 years of clinical, teaching, and research expertise in stuttering and fluency disorders. She has provided clinical services, mentoring, and postgraduate education to speech-language professionals in Australia and internationally. Dr Hearne’s work focuses on the assessment and treatment of school-age children and adolescents who stutter, and she is actively involved in the development and delivery of the internet version of the Lidcombe Program at the Australian Stuttering Research Centre. She is a member of the Lidcombe Program and Camperdown Program Trainers Consortium and regularly presents workshops for clinicians around the world.
