Dr. Rehab Zaytoun
Dr. Rehab Zaytoun is an Associate Professor of Phoniatrics at the Faculty of Medicine, Fayoum University. She graduated from Kasr Al-Aini, Cairo University, earning her Master’s degree in Communication, Swallowing, and Voice Disorders in 2011 and her Medical Doctorate in 2015.
Dr. Rehab is extensively trained in pediatric speech, language, and feeding disorders. She is Hanen-trained (It Takes Two to Talk, More Than Words, Talkability), PROMPT-certified (among the first in the Middle East), and the first TalkTools Level 4 certified assessor in the Middle East. She is also a TalkTools instructor and speaker in the MENA region.
Her expertise includes neonatal feeding (NOMAS-certified), oral motor and sensory-based feeding therapies (Beckman, SOS), orofacial myology, literacy and language processing programs (Lindamood-Bell, Orton-Gillingham), reflex integration, and voice therapy (LSVT).
Dr. Rehab currently heads the Speech and Language Department at the Learning Resource Center (LRC) in Maadi, owns CliniCare private practice in Cairo, and serves as a visiting consultant at ABLE UK Dubai. She is a frequent speaker at local and international conferences.
